Pics from our Hiking Club trip to Death Valley NP.  We camped in the Furnace Creek area of Death Valley and did dayhikes and stuff.

In the Panamint Valley. That's the west slope of the Panamint Range and 11,000' Telescope Peak in the back.

Friday afternoon we drove down Titus Canyon. This is the ghost town of Leadfield.

In the narrows of Titus Canyon.

Saturday morning we hiked into Greenwater Canyon to look at rock art. I hiked up the slope to look at some petroglyphs and I took this picture of our hikers.

   Some of the rock art.

We stopped at Dante's View to look 5700' down to Badwater. That's the east face of Telescope Peak behind us.

In the afternoon we hiked in the Zabriskie Hills.

The badland hills here are a terrific yellow color

Our camp at Texas Spring CG. My bet is that they don't have to budget much for lawncare here. It is what it is.
